A note from our Club President:

Well 2010 is here and we’ve managed to make it through January already. As you know some our biggest fund-raisers happen in the spring, so I hope we’re ready to hit the ground running.

Our first big fund raiser is Monte Carlo Night on March 12. I hope you all have that date saved. While most of the sub-committees are rounding, there is always something that needs to be done and inevitably, someone needed to do it. Continuity combined with fresh insights and ideas is a successful formula for moving an organization forward without losing its purpose or culture. This formula accurately describes the Board of Directors of the York-East Rotary Club for the 2010-2011 Rotary year because we have some new Board members and officers combined with some returning. We will be adding Elizabeth Wolf as President Elect, Steve Fluder as the new International Lane Chair, George Dvoryak as the new Rotary Foundation chair, and John Schriver and Connie Spark as new At-large Board Members (although both have served in that position previously)...
